You can apply online or in the store at a computer they have
beemac
set up. When I applied I did it online and they called me about a month

later. If you are concerned that you're not hearing anything from them

call and ask to speak to the Human Resource manager.

Pick up an application at your local store. Fill it out, and
Babe
put on some nice clothes. NO JEANS. and take the application to the store

at around 930 am. Ask to speak with the store manager. Introduce

yourself and hand him the application. tell him how eager you are to

obtain a position with his company.

I live in Michigan as well and the economy is bad here. I
muggins
applied with Lowes before and I got the interview which was long and

exhausting. But anyway, you have to call the specific store you applied at

and talk to a manager, give them your name and number and they will call

you back. If they don't, call them back at every 4 days.

How long ago did you apply online? I would call and ask to
Smurfy
speak to the manager, and ask if he/she has received your application

online? I worked at Lowes, and actually originally applied online, and it

was a couple weeks before they called me.
